We are seeking a Senior SAP Java Engineer to join a strategic initiative building enterprise-grade services on SAP BTP using CAP (Java), aligned with SAP's "Golden Path" practices. You'll help deliver scalable cloud services with a strong focus on quality, security and maintainable architecture in an enterprise SAP landscape. The project works in close collaboration with senior stakeholders and is designed to set up a long-term delivery partnership in the Signavio domain.
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable cloud services with a strong focus on quality, security and maintainable architecture
- Build enterprise-grade services on SAP BTP using CAP (Java)
- Implementation of REST APIs
- Collaboration with senior stakeholders in the Signavio domain
- Drive initiatives within the project
- Application of modern software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews and source control management
- Manage build processes, testing and releasing
- Use of agile methods like test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery
Requirements
- 3+ years of strong Java backend development skills
- Experience with SAP CAP Framework and SAP Business Technology Platform
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot
- Expertise in REST API implementation
- Understanding of Domain-driven Design
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Capability to drive initiatives
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Understanding of SAP cloud services and products
- Familiarity with SAPUI5
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud Database
