We're looking to bring on board a Senior SAP IS-U CCS Billing & Invoicing Consultant to support project work and AMS-based assistance within the electric power and utilities space, centering on billing operations, calculation logic, invoice creation, system upgrades, and both functional and technical assistance. The ideal candidate will bring substantial background in SAP IS-U / CCS, with particular strength in Billing & Invoicing, capable of independently managing requirement gathering, system setup, functional documentation, technical troubleshooting, ABAP-level debugging, quality testing, issue resolution, and rollout of enhancements. We're targeting an experienced, action-ready individual who can contribute immediately, bringing dual functional and technical understanding of SAP workflows tailored to energy utility organizations.
- Function as a senior specialist covering SAP IS-U CCS Billing & Invoicing matters
- Handle analysis work, system configuration, and continuous upkeep of billing operations inside SAP IS-U
- Support AMS-related tasks, both corrective and evolutionary enhancements, and initiatives connected to the commercial billing cycle for utilities
- Establish requirements, adjust system parameters, and monitor enhancement work throughout the SAP IS-U platform
- Furnish technical assistance covering development work, tweaks, and repairs within SAP ABAP whenever the need arises
- Investigate incidents, billing mismatches, data irregularities, and integration errors from both functional and technical angles
- Assist with single-account and bulk billing operations, encompassing re-billing, cancellations, reversal transactions, and simulated invoicing
- Review billing logic, calculation structures, tariff models, tax elements, fees, subsidy schemes, and regulatory factors
- Compose functional documentation for ABAP builds, interface work, reporting tools, form design, and system upgrades, alongside performing ABAP-level debugging to pinpoint the source of functional defects
- Set up and sustain workflows covering billing, invoicing, meter reading, device tracking, contract account management, bulk billing operations, document reprocessing, and invoice creation and print output
- Coordinate efforts with business-side stakeholders, technical staff, ABAP programmers, integration professionals, and colleagues from other SAP modules
- Engage in unit-level testing, integration verification, user acceptance testing alongside key users, and support activities following go-live
- Contribute to essential period-close activities, billing cycle operations, and management of exceptions
- Support the creation and upkeep of functional, technical, and operational records covering deployed solutions
- At least three years of practical, on-the-job experience serving as an SAP IS-U CCS consultant, with emphasis on Billing & Invoicing work
- Earlier professional exposure within electric power generation, utility companies, or utility concession operators
- Well-rounded knowledge of commercial processes within utilities, including meter reading, metering activities, consumption calculations, billing operations, and invoice issuance
- Experience operating within SAP AMS/support contexts, addressing incidents, enhancement requests, bug fixes, and evolving change needs
- Awareness of SAP IS-U configuration and customization practices tied specifically to billing operations
- Proven ability to identify and fix complicated billing issues occurring within a live production system
- Direct experience putting together functional specification documents to guide ABAP development efforts
- Sufficient SAP ABAP knowledge to perform debugging, technical diagnostics, and assist in resolving system errors
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into workable SAP configurations
- Background conducting functional and integration testing, as well as verifying that implemented fixes perform correctly once in production
- Firm grasp of essential objects and workflows associated with SAP IS-U CCS
- Independent, analytically driven working style with comfort collaborating directly alongside key users and technical personnel
- English language capability at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above
