Responsibilities
- Architect, construct, and fine-tune SAP HANA native models, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, to enable backend data processing and aggregation functions
- Construct and sustain robust ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data originating from SAP and non-SAP systems, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and various third-party platforms
- Partner with teams spanning multiple disciplines to build scalable data flows and architectures that power dependable analytics and operational reporting
- Create comprehensive data workflows from start to finish, maintaining strong data quality standards while spotting and fixing inconsistencies through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Strengthen business operations through tailored analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights built on SAP HANA backend infrastructure
- Boost data processing speed for large-scale datasets and intricate workflows by taking advantage of SAP HANA's in-memory database strengths
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives, teaming up with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to capture requirements and produce customized, high-quality deliverables
- Take an active role in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies, including sprint execution, planning sessions, and retrospectives, consistently delivering incremental value to stakeholders
- Keep technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing resources current for critical SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable technical discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA development or a similar capacity within the SAP ecosystem
- Demonstrated skill in SAP HANA native modeling, with substantial hands-on work involving Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Background designing and sustaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, particularly within SAP environments such as HANA
- Working knowledge of integrating SAP systems like SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy platforms into broader data workflows
- Strong capability in optimizing data performance, tuning databases, and ensuring systems scale effectively for sizable datasets
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, along with experience using collaboration platforms such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication abilities, paired with a team-oriented approach
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering sectors, particularly touching on quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Background working with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or similar modern SAP integration platforms
