We are in search of a proficient Senior SAP HANA Developer to become part of our team. This position calls for designing and upkeeping modern data models, pipelines, and backend systems that enable complex business workflows and analytics across manufacturing, engineering, and operations spaces. Responsibilities
- Develop, construct, and tune SAP HANA native models such as Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript to enable backend data processing and aggregation
- Set up and sustain solid ETL pipelines tasked with extracting, transforming, and loading data across SAP and non-SAP platforms, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and additional third-party systems
- Cooperate with cross-disciplinary teams to construct scalable data architectures and flows supporting dependable analytics and operational reporting
- Formulate complete data workflows, safeguarding data quality while detecting and correcting discrepancies via ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting efforts
- Bolster business operations with purpose-built analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights delivered through SAP HANA backend tools
- Elevate processing performance for large datasets and intricate workflows by leveraging the strengths of SAP HANA's in-memory database
- Contribute to collaborative, cross-team work alongside engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to collect requirements and craft well-suited, high-quality outcomes
- Take part consistently in Agile (SAFe) rituals, including sprints, planning, and retrospective sessions, while delivering incremental value along the way
- Sustain documentation of technical best practices, workflows, and shared knowledge covering essential SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field
- At least 3 years of experience working in SAP HANA development or an equivalent SAP-related position
- Solid expertise in SAP HANA native modeling, supported by significant hands-on experience with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Background designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and workflows, particularly within SAP-based environments such as HANA
- Exposure to integrating SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or legacy platforms, into broader data pipeline structures
- Capable of optimizing data performance, tuning databases, and ensuring scalability across large-scale data environments
- Proficient with Agile methodologies and tools supporting team collaboration, such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a natural inclination toward teamwork
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Background within manufacturing or engineering industries, particularly around quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or similar current-generation SAP integration tools
