We're seeking an accomplished Senior SAP HANA Developer to join our growing team. In this position, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated data models, pipelines, and backend infrastructure that support intricate business processes and analytical requirements across manufacturing, engineering, and operational settings. Responsibilities
- Build, refine, and maintain SAP HANA native models such as Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript to drive backend data processing and aggregation capabilities
- Develop and uphold dependable ETL pipelines responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data from both SAP and non-SAP sources, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and assorted third-party systems
- Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional colleagues to design scalable data architectures and flows that support solid analytics and operational reporting capabilities
- Design complete data workflows while upholding rigorous data quality, identifying and addressing inconsistencies through continuous monitoring and diagnostic work
- Elevate business operations by delivering custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights powered through SAP HANA backend technology
- Enhance performance for processing large volumes of data and complex workflows by applying SAP HANA's in-memory database advantages
- Engage in collaborative, cross-team efforts alongside engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to collect requirements and produce tailored, quality-driven outcomes
- Take part actively in Agile (SAFe) practices, covering sprint cycles, planning activities, and retrospectives, while consistently providing incremental value to stakeholders
- Maintain thorough documentation covering technical best practices, workflows, and shared knowledge for essential SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical area
- A minimum of 3 years spent in SAP HANA development or a comparable SAP-focused role
- Strong demonstrated ability in SAP HANA native modeling, including considerable practical experience with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Hands-on background building and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, specifically within SAP environments like HANA
- Knowledge of integrating SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy platforms, into data pipeline operations
- Skilled in optimizing data performance, fine-tuning databases, and guaranteeing scalability across large data environments
- Comfortable applying Agile methodologies and working with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication capabilities, along with a cooperative working style
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Industry background in manufacturing or engineering, with particular relevance to quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or comparable modern SAP integration solutions
