We're currently on the lookout for a skilled Senior SAP HANA Developer to join our organization. This role centers on crafting and maintaining state-of-the-art data models, pipelines, and backend architecture supporting intricate business operations and analytics requirements throughout manufacturing, engineering, and operations settings. Responsibilities
- Craft, build, and refine SAP HANA native models, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, in support of backend data processing and aggregation activities
- Construct and uphold dependable ETL pipelines responsible for pulling, converting, and loading data between SAP and non-SAP environments, encompassing SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and various outside sources
- Partner across functional teams to shape scalable data flows and architecture capable of supporting solid analytics and operational reporting
- Put together end-to-end data workflows, ensuring data integrity remains high while catching and remedying inconsistencies through regular monitoring and troubleshooting
- Support and elevate business operations through customized analytics, KPI tracking, and insights generated via SAP HANA backend systems
- Fine-tune data processing speed for large data volumes and complex workflows by capitalizing on SAP HANA's in-memory database functionality
- Take part in cross-team collaborative initiatives, working alongside engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather needs and deliver fitting, quality solutions
- Participate actively in Agile (SAFe) routines, including sprint execution, planning, and retrospective meetings, while steadily delivering incremental stakeholder value
- Preserve up-to-date documentation on technical best practices, processes, and shared knowledge for core SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar technical discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP HANA development or a comparable position within the SAP landscape
- Demonstrated strength in SAP HANA native modeling, with meaningful hands-on involvement in Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Experience in constructing and sustaining ETL pipelines and data workflows, specifically within SAP-based settings like HANA
- Understanding of how to integrate SAP systems, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy tools, into data workflow structures
- Proficiency in enhancing data performance, tuning databases, and maintaining scalability for substantial datasets
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and collaboration platforms like JIRA and Confluence
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, paired with a cooperative mindset
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors, with specific relevance to quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Background working with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or other modern SAP integration platforms
