We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP HANA Cloud Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining cutting-edge data models, pipelines, and backend solutions to support complex business processes and analytics needs in manufacturing, engineering, and operations environments. Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable, robust data models natively within SAP HANA Cloud
- Analyze and translate existing logic and workflows from external platforms such as Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into high-performing, native SAP HANA Cloud artifacts
- Conduct deep-dive performance analysis, query optimization, memory footprint reduction, and execution plan evaluations to guarantee sub-second latency on massive operational datasets
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize backend services supporting enterprise applications, specifically HADES list apps and downstream reporting engines
- Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to translate intricate operational requirements into technical specifications
- Establish best practices for HANA modeling, code reviews, and CI/CD data lifecycle management, while mentoring team members and driving standard operating procedures
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and edge-case issues proactively before they impact operational pipelines
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with HANA Cloud, with completed HA300 training considered a plus
- Experience translating Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models into HANA Cloud
- Experience with HANA Cloud optimization techniques
- Experience working with HADES list apps
- Ability to work with business analysts, translating business requirements into technical solutions
- A proactive attitude toward resolving issues
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
