We are seeking a remote Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team, working on a project with a global leader in the manufacturing industry.
As a Senior SAP FICO Specialist, you will play a critical role in the implementation and maintenance of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide business analysis to enhance financial processes and optimize SAP S/4HANA for central finance. Responsibilities
- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements and ensure accurate financial data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve financial issues, providing business analysis to enhance financial processes
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial data
- Conduct regular audits of financial data and transactions, identifying and addressing potential errors or discrepancies
- Participate in the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA for central finance, optimizing financial processes and data
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring the efficient and effective use of SAP FICO modules
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, staying up-to-date with relevant changes and updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling
- Expertise in configuring and customizing SAP FICO modules
- In-depth knowledge of SAP-FI: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Practical experience in SAP S/4HANA for central finance
- Strong business analysis skills, enabling you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and drive business value
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience in other SAP modules, such as SAP MM or SAP SD, providing a broader understanding of SAP's integrated business processes
