We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to provide top-quality SAP Finance solutions for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory demands, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring practical expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations within the Life Sciences sector, together with a solid understanding of financial processes and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver SAP FI solutions as part of SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, spanning requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Work with business stakeholders, IT groups, and compliance experts to convert business requirements into effective SAP FI solutions
- Make sure all solutions comply with Life Sciences industry regulations such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, along with financial compliance standards and internal controls
- Support the integration of SAP FI with other modules including CO, MM, and SD, as well as with external systems
- Draft and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and validation records
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end users and project teams
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide junior consultants while promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 3 or more years of expertise in the SAP FI module, covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency with Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting
- Hands-on background in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and configuration
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP FI solutions
- Familiarity with Life Sciences industry regulations and financial compliance standards such as GxP, SOX, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience integrating FI with other SAP modules such as CO, MM, and SD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities applied to solution design and issue resolution
- Skill in preparing functional specifications, test scripts, and validation documentation
- Capability to conduct user training and support change management activities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Nice to have
- SAP FI certification or an equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud
- Background in Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Multilingual abilities that support global project delivery
- Skills in data analytics and reporting for financial analysis, including validated systems and audit support within Life Sciences
