We are searching for a Senior SAP Consultant to join a high-profile global project focused on transitioning and modernizing the SAP landscape for a major food retail group.
In this role, you will serve as a key expert in the SAP Master Data stream, responsible for knowledge absorption and ongoing support to ensure seamless SAP operations. Responsibilities
- Participate actively in knowledge transfer sessions to acquire an understanding of business processes, configurations, and custom code related to SAP Master Data
- Support continuous improvement and innovation of SAP Master Data processes to align with business goals
- Ensure seamless transition of SAP Master Data support, focusing on materials management and Retail Master Data, including article, supplier, store, and customer data
- Conduct hands-on validation exercises in test environments to reinforce knowledge
- Review and update support documentation such as standard operating procedures and runbooks
- Manage escalations and resolve complex incidents within the SAP Master Data stream
- Engage in shadowing and reverse shadowing activities during the transition phase
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP Logistics, including expertise in SAP Retail and SAP Retail Master Data, with a minimum of 3 years in a consulting role
- Demonstrated ability to absorb and apply detailed knowledge of SAP business processes and configurations
- Background in supporting and maintaining SAP Master Data solutions
- Experience in incident management and complex problem resolution
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining support materials
- Capability to work effectively in remote teams with occasional business trips to Europe
- Professional working proficiency in English (B1+ level)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SAP Retail Purchasing processes
- Knowledge of SAP Retail Sales functionalities
- Understanding of SAP-IS Retail Solutions
