We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP/CAP Developer who builds enterprise services the modern way. You will own the design and implementation of scalable, event-driven microservices on BTP, bridging core SAP systems with modern cloud APIs using CAP, Node.js/Java, and robust security standards
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade microservices and extensions using SAP CAP
- Develop performant backends using Node.js and/or Java
- Architect integrations between SAP BTP, core SAP systems such as S/4HANA, and third-party APIs via OData and REST
- Implement robust cloud security, identity propagation, and authorization using XSUAA and the BTP Destination Service
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
- Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java for backend microservices development
- Experience integrating SAP BTP with core SAP solutions and external APIs, including REST and OData
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP security, authentication via XSUAA, and destination management
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- SAP BTP certification, such as SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, which would be considered a valuable addition to your qualifications
- Experience with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh
