We are seeking a remote Senior SAP Basis Service Manager with a skills of SAP and DevOps to join our team.
As an expert in SAP, AWS, and DevOps technologies, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SAP BASIS, HANA, and ASE systems.
Responsibilities
- SAP BASIS maintenance and monitoring, change request & transport management, incidents & service requests management
- System, client copy, and migration administration and maintenance
- SAP HANA and SAP ASE backup & restore, index & partitioning management, administration and tuning of the DB parameters, DB update, data growth analysis
- Linux-based OS management administration, OS update & security patches implementation, back & restore
- Performance analysis of ABAP/JAVA, HANA & ASE DB
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SAP BASIS and DevOps
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS - NW as ABAP (S4HANA Platform) & NW as JAVA, Webdisp, Content Servers
- AWS cloud infrastructure knowledge (EC2, Route53, S3, Lambda, System Manager, CloudWatch)
- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP ASE administration and maintenance
- Good knowledge of SAP Solution manager (CHARM, System monitoring, EWA)
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of GRC, ACP, SLT, BW4HANA, S4HANA, OpenText
- Experience with third-party backup tools (Commvault)
- Familiarity with single sign-on technologies (Kerberos, X509, SAML, oAuth)
- Understanding of network, firewalls, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of SAP BTP, Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics cloud
