We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team, working on the development and implementation of SAP systems for leading clients in the industry. You will be responsible for driving the development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. With your expertise in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and SAP Core Data Services, you will play a key role in the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop SAP systems, leveraging your expertise in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and SAP Core Data Services
- Develop innovative solutions to complex business problems, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing and quality control processes
- Lead the documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives within the team, ensuring that best practices and lessons learned are captured and shared
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, actively contributing to the development of new solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience with OO ABAP, ABAP New Syntax (740), CDS, and AMDP
- Expertise in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and SAP Core Data Services, with demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems
- Strong experience with SAP HANA Studio and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP), as well as OData and SAP BAPI/RFC
- Experience with enhancements (BADI, BAPI, BTE, User exit, Customer exit), ALV, OO ALV, IDOC, SAP Scripts, Smart forms & Adobe Forms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with Code Pushdown: Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA and Plan Visualizer would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Gateway Services, including OData/JSON/RESTFUL data models, Deep insert, function imports, paginations, would be an added advantage
