We are in search of a highly adept Senior SAP ABAP Developer who can work remotely, bringing specialized skills in HANA and OData to assist our client in the deployment of newly integrated S4/HANA systems across diverse business units.
As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, your role involves the implementation of novel business processes and support within SAP modules, specifically FICA, CI, and SAP data archiving. This position presents a unique opportunity to make substantial contributions to the design, development, and enhancement of features within a dynamic Agile development framework.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the client in deploying the recently integrated S4/HANA systems across various business units
- Implementation of innovative business processes and providing assistance in SAP modules such as FICA, CI, and SAP data archiving
- Close collaboration with development peers, product leadership, and other technical experts to devise impactful and groundbreaking solutions
- Ensuring prompt resolution of issues in a production environment
- Reviewing requirements and transforming them into a well-documented technical design for implementation
- Providing technical insights for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous enhancement by staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Participating in code reviews, guaranteeing code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to accomplish project objectives
- Actively engaging in technical discussions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming, HANA, and OData
- Expertise in business processes, particularly in SAP FI-CA/CI
- Hands-on experience in configuring archiving processes
- Familiarity with the SAP AIF package
- Understanding of security, effective code reuse, and software design
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Outstanding communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP MM Technical and SAP SD Technical
- Familiarity with SAP ALE and IDocs, SAP data archiving, and BRF+ enhancements
