We are in search of a highly adept Senior SAP ABAP Developer to work remotely, showcasing expertise in HANA and OData.
Your role involves providing crucial support for our client's roll-out of the recently deployed S4/HANA systems across diverse business units. As a seasoned Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing novel business processes and delivering support in SAP modules such as FICA, CI, and SAP data archiving. This position presents an exciting opportunity to make significant contributions to the dynamic Agile development environment's design, development, and optimization of features.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the client during the deployment of newly implemented S4/HANA systems in various business units
- Implementing fresh business processes and offering support in SAP modules like FICA, CI, and SAP data archiving
- Collaborating closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical experts to devise innovative and impactful solutions
- Ensuring prompt resolution of issues in a production environment
- Reviewing requirements and converting them into a documented technical design for implementation
- Providing technical insights for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous enhancement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Participating in code reviews, guaranteeing code quality and compliance with standards
- Engaging in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to attain project objectives
- Actively participating in technical discussions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming, HANA, and OData
- Expertise in business processes, specifically SAP FI-CA/CI
- Practical experience in configuring archiving processes
- Familiarity with the SAP AIF package
- Understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English, preferably at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in SAP MM Technical and SAP SD Technical
- Familiarity with SAP ALE and IDocs, SAP data archiving, and BRF+ functionality
