We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in HANA, and OData to support our client in the roll-out of the newly implemented S4/HANA systems in various business units.
As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for implementing new business processes and providing support in the SAP modules of FICA, CI, and SAP data archiving. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the client in the roll-out of the newly implemented S4/HANA systems in various business units
- Implementing new business processes and providing support in the SAP modules of FICA, CI and SAP data archiving
- Working closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions
- Ensuring timely resolution of issues in a production environment
- Reviewing requirements and translating them into a documented technical design for implementation
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Actively contributing to technical discussions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in programming in SAP ABAP, HANA, and OData
- Experience in business processes including SAP FI-CA/CI
- Hands-on experience in setting up archiving processes
- Familiarity with the SAP AIF package
- Understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP MM Technical and SAP SD Technical
- Familiarity with SAP ALE and IDocs, SAP data archiving, and BRF+
