Join our team as a remote Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing ABAP code, including ABAP Core and ABAP Objects, as well as creating Core Data Services and OData. You will work closely with other technical staff and business owners to ensure the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality ABAP code to create scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Collaborating with technical staff and business owners to ensure software solutions meet business requirements
- Creating Core Data Services and OData to integrate UI5 with ERP backend systems
- Maintaining and troubleshooting code in a production environment
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements and partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Actively participating in architectural and technical discussions
- Supporting applications and systems in a production environment, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Prioritizing and ensuring high-quality standards at every stage of development
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in ABAP development
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Core and ABAP Objects
- Experience in creating Core Data Services and OData
- Knowledgeable with JavaScript for front-end development
- Experience in working with UI5 and integrating it with ERP backend systems
- Experience with Agile methodology for software development
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with team members in different time zones
- Ability to follow a structured approach for development tasks and ensuring transparency throughout the development process
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

- Knowledge of MRS is a plus
