Join our remote team as a Senior SAP ABAP Developer within a global leader in providing enterprise software solutions. We are looking for an experienced developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in our agile development environment. As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using SAP ABAP technology
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business requirements
- Creating and consuming OData services using SAP Gateway for seamless integration between UI5 and ERP backend systems
- Designing and developing Core Data Services (CDS) views for effective data modeling and retrieval
- Developing custom UI5 applications using JavaScript for enhanced user experience
- Following Agile methodology for software development and ensuring timely delivery of software solutions
- Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers
- Documenting technical specifications and test scenarios for software solutions
- Staying updated with the latest SAP ABAP development trends and technologies
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- In-depth knowledge of ABAP Core and ABAP Objects
- Experience in creating and consuming OData services using SAP Gateway
- Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS) and UI5 development
- Hands-on experience in JavaScript for developing custom UI5 applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodology for software development
- Ability to work independently and within a virtual team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Structured approach towards development tasks
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Multiresource Scheduling (MRS) is a plus
- Experience in SAP Fiori development is an advantage
