We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to work remotely. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and applications. You will work closely with functional analysts, business analysts, and other technical staff to create high-quality solutions for our clients. Our client is a global leader in providing innovative solutions in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-quality SAP ABAP programs and applications in line with client requirements
- Working closely with functional analysts, business analysts, and other technical staff to create innovative solutions
- Testing and debugging SAP ABAP programs and applications to ensure optimal performance
- Maintaining and updating existing SAP ABAP programs and applications for optimal functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements and partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Actively contributing to architectural and technical discussions
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with programming in SAP ABAP, SAP HANA, and OData
- Experience with SAP AIF and understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design
- Familiarity with business processes including SAP FI-CA/CI and setting up archiving processes
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA, SAP OOPs, and SAP data archiving, SARA, ADK
- Experience with SAP O-Data, REST, SAP ALE, and IDocs
- Familiarity with BRF+
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP UI5 and Fiori would be an advantage
