Senior RubyOnRails Developer for Retail Company

Design, build and maintain efficient reusable, reliable and scalable Ruby code to help shape user stories

Integrations of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

Identify bottlenecks and bugs whilst also devising creative and effective solutions to these problems

Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

Connecting applications with additional web servers

Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications

Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of the infrastructure

Improve and maintain applications after deployment whilst also prototyping for the future

Integrate data storage and data processing solutions

3+ years of relevant experience

Demonstrable track record building mission-critical backend services

Commercial experience with Ruby

Experience with and appreciation for well-tested code

Full command of Git and ideally GitHub

Experience with continuous integrations and deployment

Experience with (pragmatic) micro-services or Kubernetes is a plus
