Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior RubyOnRails Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain efficient reusable, reliable and scalable Ruby code to help shape user stories
- Integrations of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs whilst also devising creative and effective solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
- Connecting applications with additional web servers
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications
- Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of the infrastructure
- Improve and maintain applications after deployment whilst also prototyping for the future
- Integrate data storage and data processing solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable track record building mission-critical backend services
- Commercial experience with Ruby
- Experience with and appreciation for well-tested code
- Full command of Git and ideally GitHub
- Experience with continuous integrations and deployment
Nice to have
- Experience with (pragmatic) micro-services or Kubernetes is a plus
