We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project that will revolutionize the way people interact with technology. As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of code, while also contributing to the development of new features and functionalities. Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of code
  • Write and execute effective tests using RSpec and Cucumber
  • Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities
  • Manage code using Git and GitHub
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ruby development, with a deep understanding of Ruby on Rails
  • Expertise in RSpec and Cucumber, demonstrating your ability to write and execute effective tests
  • Experience with databases, including SQL databases, and proficiency in writing complex queries
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, enabling you to develop and maintain complex web applications
  • Experience with Git and GitHub, showcasing your ability to manage code and collaborate with other developers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux/OS X Shell
  • Knowledge of SASS/SCSS style sheets
  • Experience in open source projects or gems
