Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join our team, working on a cutting-edge project that requires expertise in Ruby, front-end development, and relational database design. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, ensuring their high-quality performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and project managers, to deliver the best possible solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex software systems using Ruby and other front-end development technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers, ensuring high-quality code is delivered
- Develop and maintain documentation for software systems, including technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ruby development, with a focus on front-end development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of front-end development tools and frameworks, including R Language, MATLAB, and SQL
- Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL and Oracle Database Platform
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python and Linux
- Familiarity with code quality tools such as Sonar
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
