We are looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust web applications, working across the full stack with a primary focus on backend development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Work across the full stack with a primary focus on backend development
- Collaborate with the team on database design and management using Postgres
- Coordinate with frontend developers working with React
- Participate in Scrum processes and agile ceremonies
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines through GitLab and Jenkins
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer
- Solid experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails (Ruby v3.5, Rails 7)
- Proficiency in full-stack development with a focus on backend, including Postgres and React
- Familiarity with GitLab and Jenkins
- Understanding of AWS and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Scrum processes
- Good self-organization skills and communication in English
Nice to have
- Understanding of AWS, Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
