We are seeking a dedicated Senior Ruby Developer to join our collaborative team.

As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will be instrumental in improving and creating web platforms that enhance the learning experiences of millions. You will have the opportunity to work with Ruby and TypeScript, playing a key role in supporting and migrating applications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new features and services using Ruby on Rails and Angular/TypeScript
Write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code while enhancing existing features
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Communicate with stakeholders from the customer side, mostly engineers
Perform code reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Ruby and 3+ years of experience in the language
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Solid understanding of algorithms and design patterns
Knowledge of OOP/OOD
Web application development experience
Understanding of databases and SQL
Ability to work autonomously and handle ambiguous tasks
Excellent communication skills in English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2

Nice to have

Knowledge of Angular
Experience with Google internal tools and systems
