We are seeking a remote Middle R Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will work on implementing R models and R packages in Spark and optimizing the code. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code that meets the project's objectives and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement Spark R packages for the project
- Integrate Spark R into Databricks and ensure smooth operation
- Contribute to the design and development of high-quality code that meets the project's objectives and requirements
- Collaborate with other developers and data scientists to implement R models in Spark and optimize the code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
- Monitor and mentor junior team members
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in R development
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in R Language development, including implementation of R models and R packages
- Proficiency with Apache Spark and Databricks, with a deep understanding of their architecture and components
- Experience with code optimization techniques to improve performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- B2+ English level proficiency
