Senior QA Engineer for a Financial Technology and Information Company
Automated Testing in Java, Automated Testing in Python
We are currently looking for a remote Senior QA Engineer with 3+ years of Automated Testing experience and Java or Python proficiency to join our team.
The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community - driving performance in trading, investment, wealth management, regulatory compliance, market data management, enterprise risk and fighting financial crime.
The main pool of tasks is associated with testing of new implemented processes and technology across content sets.
Responsibilities
- Performing Automated Testing tasks
- Work with scrum team to define the testing scope
- Write testing scenarios for user stories
- Estimate testing work and perform testing automation tasks based on the estimation for cloud architecture project
- Follow testing strategy and automation plan
- Perform regression testing and release control at scrum team level
- Support in implementation of automation testing framework independently base on project requirement
- Maintain and refactor test scripts continuously
- Provide test results, define and report bugs
- Engage end users at appropriate level, and collaborate with them for test activities

- Participate in phone conferences with users and perform user acceptance testing and Demos
- Provide functional and non-functional testing reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
- Understanding of both manual and automation testing
- Fundamental knowledge of Software Testing process in Scrum
- Familiarity with common Design Patterns and Code Standards
- Test Automation proficiency: ability to setup test automation framework from scratch, and ability to solve complex test automation tasks
- Experience with CI process
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changes
- English level B1 and higher
