We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in JavaScript to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and software development, with hands-on experience in modern testing frameworks and tools. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright
  • Utilize the Chai Assertion Library for writing clear, concise, and reusable tests
  • Implement Cucumber JS for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing
  • Manage and maintain test scripts using Git version control system
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure alignment on testing approaches
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects effectively, ensuring continuous improvement of automation processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation
  • Experience with Playwright for web automation
  • Strong knowledge of Chai Assertion Library and Cucumber JS
  • Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaboration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket for code repository management
  • Understanding of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
  • Experience with Jira for task tracking and project management
  • Knowledge of the Xray plugin for Jira to integrate test management into workflows
