We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building reliable, scalable testing solutions that support high-quality software delivery. You will play a key part in strengthening the overall testing strategy while collaborating closely with development and product teams. This position offers the opportunity to influence quality practices across multiple projects and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts to validate application functionality across multiple layers
- Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements early in the software development lifecycle
- Analyze test results to identify defects, trends, and areas for improvement in application quality
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to ensure long-term reliability and scalability
- Contribute to the definition of quality standards and testing best practices across projects
- Participate in sprint planning and review sessions to align testing efforts with project timelines
- Document test cases, scenarios, and results to ensure clear traceability and knowledge sharing
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches to improve testing efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of test management tools, such as Jira and X-Ray, for tracking test cases and defects
- Experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, Karate, and Serenity BDD for writing and executing behavior-driven tests
- Experience managing automation pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
- Knowledge of data analytics applied to quality metrics to support data-driven quality decisions
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, to support and accelerate testing activities
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- An AI certification, preferably in Copilot, with additional certifications in Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, or similar tools considered a plus
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing project workflows, pipelines, and test tracking
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices to support automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Experience with functional testing to validate application behavior against requirements
- Practical experience with Postman for testing and validating REST APIs
- Background in quality engineering practices to support robust and scalable testing processes
- Experience working with REST APIs for testing service-level functionality
- Familiarity with REST Assured for automating REST API testing
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for automating web application testing
- Experience building or working within test automation frameworks to support scalable and maintainable testing solutions
