We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering dependable, well-engineered testing solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to elevate quality standards throughout the development process. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate application functionality across different scenarios
- Work closely with development teams to identify testing needs throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze test outcomes to pinpoint defects, recurring issues, and areas for quality improvement
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to ensure they remain reliable and adaptable over time
- Contribute to defining quality standards and testing best practices applicable across projects
- Participate in sprint planning and review sessions to keep testing efforts aligned with project timelines
- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, scenarios, and results to support traceability and knowledge sharing
- Explore and recommend new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing testing workflows, pipelines, and project tracking
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks in Java for designing and executing behavior-driven test scenarios
- Practical background in functional testing to verify application behavior against defined requirements
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative code management
- Experience building or working within test automation frameworks to support scalable and maintainable testing processes
- Knowledge of data analytics applied to quality metrics to support data-informed quality decisions
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, to support and enhance testing workflows
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data quality practices to ensure accuracy and consistency across testing datasets
- Experience with mobile test automation to validate functionality across mobile applications and devices
- Background in performance testing to assess application behavior under varying load conditions
- Experience working with PostgreSQL for managing and querying relational data during testing
- Proficiency in SQL for writing queries to support data validation and testing activities
- Familiarity with security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure application safety
- An AI certification, preferably in Copilot, with additional certifications in Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, or similar tools considered a plus
