We are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to develop and maintain AI-powered backend services that drive our client's platform, contributing to both new AI capabilities and existing production systems. You will play a key role in delivering reliable software, building scalable cloud-native services and integrating AI capabilities into production applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services primarily in Python
- Maintain and enhance existing C#/.NET components
- Build REST APIs and AWS-based services
- Implement AI-powered features
- Participate in code reviews and technical design
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with Product, QA and Architecture teams
- Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practices
- Improve system performance and maintainability
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong Python development experience with working knowledge of C#/.NET
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud, REST API development and Git
- Skills in SQL and experience building production backend applications
- Background in cloud-native application development
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and Clean Code and software design patterns
- Familiarity with Agile development experience
- Knowledge of CI/CD and source control workflows
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Generative AI / LLM applications and Agentic AI concepts
- Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, Terraform (HCL) and JavaScript / TypeScript
- Skills in Prompt Engineering, Streamlit and Jupyter Notebooks
- Background in enterprise-scale distributed systems
- Experience in automotive or CRM domain
