Senior Python Engineer with AWS for a Leading Business Services Provider

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Python Engineer with Python and AWS experience to join our team.

The customer is a provider of high-quality business services in such areas as IT, Procurement, HR, Product Lifecycle Services, Financial Reporting and Analytics, and Real Estate and Facility Services.

The project scope is associated with development and support of the new data platform that will support analytics across different domains and functional areas.

Responsibilities

Work in an Agile team(s) implementing Analytics platforms
Understand the requirements and implement the Analytics platform
Collaborate with product owners and team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges
Update status in JIRA and emails on regular basis
Take ownership of the stories assigned

Requirements

6+ years of related professional experience
Understanding and implementation knowledge of Python with AWS boto3 SDK
Understanding of Linux OS and commands
Knowledge of setting up Docker containerization and running application on ECS, EKS
Skills in setting up analytical tools such as RStudio, MLflow, Jupyter, etc.
Experience of using and implementing AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, AWS SageMaker)
Strong Jenkins skills
GitLab experience
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Good analytical skills and ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
Strong (B2+) English written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent field
