Senior Python Developer for a Media Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Python Developer to join our team.

The customer is a Canadian-American multinational media conglomerate. The company was founded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where it is headquartered at the Bay Adelaide Centre.

Responsibilities

Performing new features implementation (s.a. processes automatization, functionality expansion)
Performing new partner ingestion (fill partner configuration and debug all partner’s files handling process through the code, implement special handlers if needed)
Working with old and legacy code refactoring
Participating in Scrum ceremonies
Updating Jira for tracking purposes
Self-learning and ability to work independently
Being careful and attentive to the details

Requirements

3+ years of Python development experience
Knowledge of Clean Code principles
Good Knowledge of HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, XML and XHTML
Experience with Linux, Shell Script
Experience with version control (e.g., CVS, SVN, Git)
English level B2+

Nice to have

Experience with Agile development
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Knowledge of Spectre
