Responsibilities
- Create and engineer durable, flexible technical systems supporting company-wide and engineering-specific aims
- Collaborate with varied teams spanning multiple disciplines to see well-crafted products through to completion
- Take part in architecture conversations that help determine the path and framework of current efforts
- Review and assess teammates' submitted code, sharing useful insights that help maintain high coding standards
- Tackle and resolve complicated technical difficulties that appear across different phases of development
- Guide and support less seasoned developers as they work to improve their technical foundation
- Be an active voice in planning meetings, contributing to decisions around scope and project scheduling
- Keep an eye on changing industry trends and apply relevant practices to improve daily workflows
- Preserve detailed documentation of technical decisions and methods to protect the codebase's future health
- Work closely with stakeholders to clarify needs and ensure final deliverables align with agreed expectations
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of relevant, practical experience in the role
- Advanced capabilities in Python for engineering dependable backend services and systems
- Demonstrated experience with React for developing adaptive and engaging user interfaces
- Working familiarity with AI principles and tools applied to enhance design and development processes
- Reliable understanding of database systems used for structuring, managing, and accessing data
- Comfortable using Git to manage version control and support team-oriented development practices
- Clear history of leading teams and motivating fellow contributors
- Exposure to recognized development methodologies that enable structured and efficient delivery
- Solid English proficiency, B2 level or above
