We are seeking a Senior Python Developer. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply strong engineering skills within the fast-evolving world of digital assets and blockchain technology. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in developing features and new products
- Develop solutions according to specified business requirements
- Define and write up technical specifications, including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Demonstrate and present implementation work to team leaders, heads, or the CTO
- Implement unit and integration tests to validate functionality
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility
- Participate in code reviews, identifying anti-patterns in the code along with opportunities for refactoring
- Design and implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets
- Contribute to the development of systems supporting cryptocurrency trading, custody, and settlement
- Take on other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience in software development and coding in Python
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies
- Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
- Some experience building websockets
- Some level of experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm
- Proficiency in using version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Understanding of web security standards and best practices
- Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets
- Hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Exposure to DeFi protocols, Web3 frameworks, or digital custody systems, which is a plus
- Knowledge of PHP, which will be considered an advantage
