Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to enhance our existing security reporting tool.

The successful candidate will focus on modularizing the codebase, integrating it with various services, and adding new features to advance the tool's functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Refactor and modularize the existing Python codebase to elevate maintainability and scalability
  • Enhance integration with JIRA for efficient ticket creation and manage email notifications for detected issues
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure seamless integration of new features
  • Maintain high performance and reliability of the tool
  • Implement security measures into the tool to ensure data protection
  • Work on improving the tool's database interactions with GCP BQ + SQL
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Python development, specifically in security tool contexts
  • Proficiency in modular programming and code refactoring
  • Proficiency with relational databases and knowledge of SQL
  • Skills in using HTML/JS for web scraping functionalities
  • Background in managing JIRA for ticket management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Qualifications in security or Python development would be advantageous
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and ETL/ELT solutions
  • Understanding of Google Cloud BigQuery and Looker Studio for enhanced data analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Python Jira and JIRA API for advanced tool integration
