Responsibilities
- Replicate functionality of Java API controller through open-source Python modules
- Craft Python modules catering to the new functionalities as defined by project requirements
- Conduct comprehensive unit and integration tests to uphold code quality
- Generate clear and concise Readme documentation for the setup and onboarding processes
- Sustain code cleanliness and clarity via proper inline documentation
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python development, possessing over 5 years of experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Background in Java API development and the process of translating Java to Python
- Familiarity with open-source development principles
- Understanding of superior practices in software development
- Skills in unit and integration testing with suitable frameworks
