Responsibilities
- Create and maintain robust backend systems that align with company priorities
- Assess code submitted by team members to preserve reliable quality benchmarks
- Coordinate with different teams to pinpoint and clarify project requirements
- Investigate and address challenging technical problems across all system layers
- Contribute perspective on structural decisions and upcoming technical strategy
- Provide coaching and direction to less experienced members of the development team
- Improve system efficiency while safeguarding consistent operational reliability
- Develop tidy, logically structured, and clearly documented code
- Contribute to sprint planning meetings and task effort assessments
- Stay informed about new tools, methodologies, and shifts in the industry
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of applied experience in software engineering
- Advanced knowledge of Python and its core libraries
- Practical experience in structuring databases and refining query efficiency
- Skilled use of Git for managing code versions and team-based development
- Verified experience creating applications through Python web frameworks
- Familiarity with Python web servers and associated deployment methods
- Strong foundation in security concepts and safe coding approaches
- Awareness of assorted software development methodologies and how they are applied
- History of building authentication and authorization functionality
- General understanding of AI fundamentals and their role in software projects
- Confident English abilities, written and verbal, at B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Microservice Architecture Style and its use in distributed systems
- Background in Python testing tools and practices to uphold code reliability
- Insight into SDLC methodologies that support well-organized development cycles
