We are seeking a proficient Senior Python Developer to enhance our energetic team.

The chosen candidate will tackle developing and refining our software solutions to effectively address the growing requirements of internal operations. This role is ideally suited for someone with a deep enthusiasm for Python development who excels in a collaborative, high-energy workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sophisticated Python applications
  • Produce maintainable and efficient coding solutions
  • Work collaboratively to integrate various systems
  • Identify and remedy software issues promptly
  • Boost application functionality through system analysis
  • Build and improve back-end components for better responsiveness
  • Advance data storage solutions and optimize them
  • Enforce security and data protection protocols
  • Facilitate the integration of user interfaces with server-side logic
  • Transform data from disparate sources into a singular format for streamlined processing
  • Keep abreast of Python development techniques and technologies
  • Conduct program testing and debugging for optimal performance
  • Author technical documentation as a resource and record
  • Manage eLearning and multimedia initiatives
  • Enhance localization processes through advanced scripting and automation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of localization engineering experience in the high-tech industry, either with clients or vendors
  • Expertise in Python, including background in web frameworks like Django or Flask
  • Familiarity with ORM libraries
  • Capability to unify various data sources and databases
  • Understanding of Python’s threading limitations and multi-process architecture
  • Skills in server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2 or Mako
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across diverse systems
  • Understanding of the core design principles for scalable applications
  • Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
  • Competency in designing database schemas aligning with business necessities
  • Robust unit testing and debugging competencies
  • Capability to utilize workflow and project management tools such as Git and JIRA
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with SDL Trados Studio
