Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will use your expertise in Python and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help us migrate our legacy concordance infrastructure to the modern Entity Domain Definition one.

This will help accelerate the mapping rate and enable us to implement more complex logic. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, leveraging your experience with AWS Lambda, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and incidents
  • Develop and maintain documentation of the data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Mentor junior developers and help them grow their skills
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Python Developer
  • Expertise in AWS Lambda and SQL
  • Proficiency in developing data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English, with at least an upper-intermediate level of proficiency
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with AWS Simple Queue Service, Amazon Elastic Container Service, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
