Senior Project Manager

Our customer, a leading player in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries, is undergoing a transformation, modernization, and digital solution implementation. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of external solutions by vendors, tracking progress, establishing communication plans, and overseeing deliverables and acceptance processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of projects and the growth of our organization.

Role requires regular travel and work on- site at client locations (Aspropyrgos, West Attica region).

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, end-to-end projects and programs within the energy sector
  • Apply advanced project management methodologies to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met
  • Leverage mechanical and industrial engineering knowledge to discuss and understand the technical stakeholders and drive efficiency in project execution
  • Major Focus in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate team performance
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in the IT industry, with a preference for industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management standards, such as PMI and PRINCE2
  • Experience in managing the delivery of solutions from external vendors/contractors
  • Strong negotiation, assertiveness, and empathy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Greek Language is a must
  • English language with a minimum of B2+
Nice to have
  • Electrical or Mechanical engineer background would be preferred, ideally with some work experience in industrial domain
  • Good to have strong understanding of Agile software development practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
