Senior Power BI Developer (P&M and Supplier)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer specializing in the Planning & Manufacturing and Supplier domains to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI solutions that provide actionable insights across various business domains.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions
Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable business insights
Build and manage data connections from various sources, including Azure Data Lake, SQL databases, APIs, and flat files
Apply best practices for data visualization, DAX calculations, data modeling, and report performance tuning
Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, data definitions, and reporting logic
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability in reporting outputs
Contribute to the establishment of standards and governance for Power BI usage across the organization
Participate in Agile ceremonies and planning processes as part of a cross-functional delivery team

Requirements

3+ years of experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards and data models
Advanced proficiency in Power Query (M) and Power BI Service
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, and normalized vs. denormalized structures
Experience integrating data from diverse sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, REST APIs)
Solid understanding of ETL processes and data transformation concepts
Proven ability to deliver end-to-end BI solutions in enterprise environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside data engineering and business teams
English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Residence in Ukraine (remote work is only eligible for candidates based in Ukraine)

Nice to have

Experience working with Azure Data Platform components such as Databricks, Synapse, and Azure SQL
Familiarity with version control (Git), deployment pipelines, and workspace management in Power BI
Understanding of data governance and access control practices
Exposure to Agile delivery methods, especially Scrum
