Responsibilities
- Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data visualization
- Develop data models and perform transformations using Power Query and DAX
- Integrate data from sources such as Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Work closely with data engineers to optimize Azure data pipelines for BI workloads
- Implement best practices for performance tuning, data governance, and security
- Conduct data quality assessments and resolve data discrepancies
- Maintain and update existing BI solutions to meet evolving business requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX
- Competency in Python programming for data analytics tasks
- Expertise in querying and managing Azure SQL Database
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and data warehousing concepts
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services related to data integration and storage
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes for Power BI deployments using Azure DevOps
- Experience in data storytelling and user-centric dashboard design
- Familiarity with Row-Level Security and workspace access management in Power BI
