We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Performance Tester to become a key member of our team.

In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating and optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance challenges, ensuring the delivery of effective and high-performing software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to measure and improve system scalability and performance
Create and maintain performance testing frameworks and scripts
Analyze system performance data to detect and address inefficiencies or bottlenecks
Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve system performance and stability
Simulate real-world user loads to validate system behavior under different conditions
Provide comprehensive performance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders
Define benchmarks and standards to ensure optimal system performance
Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in performance testing tools and methodologies

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in performance and scalability testing
Expertise in load generation and analysis using tools such as Artillery
Practical experience with performance testing in cloud-based microservice architectures
Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
Familiarity with integrating performance testing into CI/CD workflows
Proficiency in automating testing, data collection, and reporting processes
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Scala, or TypeScript
Expertise in the eCommerce domain and understanding of its specific workflows
Knowledge of additional performance testing tools, such as JMeter or Blazemeter
Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
