Our team is actively seeking a remote Senior Performance Test Engineer, dedicated to evaluating the capacity, stability, and scalability of various third-party applications prior to their integration into our client's system.
This role entails the development and implementation of tests, aiming for ensuring that systems are functioning at their optimal capacity, thereby providing premier service to our clients. As a part of our remote team, effective collaboration with other team members, primarily located across North American time zones, will be expected.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of performance and load tests to ascertain optimal system operation
- Creation and maintenance of performance test plans, inclusive of scripts and test data
- Performance testing framework setup incorporating persistent test data storage and trend analysis
- Collaboration with the development team for identification and resolution of performance issues
- Participation in defect triage discussions and challenging development perception of priority
- Communication in an effective manner within a startup-like environment with team members
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Testing, with a strong emphasis on analysis and testing fundamentals
- Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Expertise in REST API testing and generation of test data
- Solid understanding of Generative AI and its applications
- Proficient in effective communication within a startup-like environment, with an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
- Demonstrated experience in creation and execution of high-quality performance test plans
- Proficiency in setting up performance testing frameworks with persistent test data storage and trend analysis
- Experience in stubbing/mocking dependencies to facilitate testing
- Capability to monitor testing environments and identify performance issues
- Proficiency in participating in defect triage discussions and challenging development perception of priority

- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines
