We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to direct payroll operations in Argentina, ensuring full alignment with applicable labor, social security, and tax requirements. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering accurate and on-schedule payroll cycles while functioning as the main contact for employees on payroll matters. This is a great opportunity for a conscientious professional with a strong grasp of local payroll practices and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Execute complete monthly payroll cycles for employees in Argentina, ensuring precision and timely completion
  • Manage final settlement calculations and termination procedures according to current legislation
  • Oversee and administer fourth-category income tax calculations
  • Handle the filing and monitoring of social security contributions using the Digital Payroll Book
  • Coordinate payroll changes including vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences
  • Carry out reviews and reconciliations to verify the accuracy of payroll data
  • Support employees by responding to their payroll-related inquiries
  • Maintain steady compliance with applicable labor, social security, and tax requirements
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience managing payroll operations in Argentina
  • Strong expertise and practical experience in monthly and final payroll calculations
  • Experience handling Income Tax (4th category) calculations
  • Knowledge of social security contributions and practical skills with the Digital Payroll Book
  • Experience coordinating vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination procedures
  • Experience using payroll tools such as Tango, Visma, or similar software
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for handling payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
