We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage payroll functions in Argentina, ensuring full compliance with relevant labor, social security, and tax regulations. In this role, you will take charge of running accurate and timely payroll cycles while serving as a go-to contact for employees seeking payroll support. Responsibilities
- Process complete monthly payroll cycles for employees in Argentina, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Manage final settlement calculations and termination workflows according to current legislation
- Handle and supervise fourth-category income tax calculations
- Manage the reporting and tracking of social security contributions via the Digital Payroll Book
- Oversee payroll modifications such as vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences
- Conduct verifications and reconciliations to ensure payroll calculations are accurate
- Provide assistance and resolve employee questions related to payroll
- Uphold consistent compliance with relevant labor, social security, and tax regulations
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience managing payroll in Argentina
- Strong background and practical knowledge in monthly and final payroll computations
- Experience managing Income Tax (4th category) calculations
- Knowledge of social security contributions and hands-on experience with the Digital Payroll Book
- Experience handling vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination workflows
- Experience using payroll systems such as Tango, Visma, or similar tools
- Advanced Excel skills for performing payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
