Senior Oracle Developer for a Financial Company

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Oracle Developer to become a part of the global team.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements for the Global Markets Financing
  • If required, analyze, design and implement possible enhancements or interfaces to the standard software
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
  • Collaborate with other global IT and cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions
  • Communicate project status, resource constraints and open issues to the project manager on a timely manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar role
  • Proven experience in SQL, PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL), MS SQL and Oracle (PL/SQL) database development
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for data warehouse requirement analysis, gap and design specifications, support and documentation
  • Good understanding of data driven solutions and approach to large volume data processing
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of the application development and support life cycle
  • Strong skills in analysis, design, development, testing and support/troubleshooting with specialty skills in database, Cloud, data modelling and data warehousing technologies
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
  • Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
  • Experience with agile and scrum methodologies
  • Working experience in financial industry or AML topic
Nice to have
  • Knowledge or experience with Big data solutions
  • Knowledge of CICD (Ansible) and Version Control System (GitLib)
