We are seeking a Senior Operational Intelligence Developer to join our collaborative team. This role focuses on implementing observability for key systems using tools like New Relic, IBM Tivoli, ServiceNow, etc.

Responsibilities
- Setup New Relic agents on source systems and enable monitoring of KPIs
- Work closely with CTC teams to plan and configure log ingestion and parsing into New Relic from various sources
- Develop custom scripts to enable monitoring of unsupported applications and data sources
- Analyze log and metric data, build NRQL queries in New Relic to extract meaningful data
- Build dashboards in New Relic based on requirements and insights
- Ensure CMDB in ServiceNow has all relevant entities enabled with auto-discovery
- Create alerts in New Relic using best practices and integrate alerts with IBM NOI event management for automated incident creation in ServiceNow
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in operational intelligence and observability
- Fundamental knowledge of RHEL and AIX OS
- Experience with New Relic platform and NRQL features
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Familiarity with Observability and AIOps best practices
- Knowledge of SRE monitoring principles and approaches
- Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud and its services; understanding of monitoring in Azure Cloud; understanding of how Azure telemetry can be ingested into New Relic
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing client needs
- Troubleshooting mindset, self-motivated team player, and ability to take initiative and leadership for complex tasks
- Strong sense of accountability for efficiency, responsibility, and timely completion of work
- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision
- Collaborative and cooperative team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, meeting at least a B2 proficiency level
Nice to have
- Experience with IBM Tivoli Netcool
- Background in ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor
