We are seeking an experienced Senior Node Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping scalable and reliable backend solutions across enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and support the delivery of high-quality applications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality assurance by promoting best practices and maintainability, and conducting critical code reviews to guarantee the technical quality of deliverables
- Coordinate with architecture and infrastructure teams and translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders to support informed decision-making
- Define the production release strategy and support critical deployments to ensure a smooth transition to production
- Provide technical leadership by making technical decisions, resolving doubts, and defining technological directions for the team
- Share knowledge with the team through training and mentoring, supporting their growth and encouraging the adoption of best practices
- Define and maintain coding standards and the version control strategy using Git
- Estimate realistic development timelines to support accurate project planning
- Diagnose root causes of failures, provide support in SIT and UAT environments, and assist in bug resolution
- Assist developers with resolving critical technical issues and removing roadblocks that affect delivery
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Node.js development or a similar area
- Extensive experience in Node.js application development and architecture, including knowledge of platforms such as Kubernetes, WAS, and JBoss
- Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage both technical and team-related aspects
- Focus on quality, best practices, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and coordinate with multiple business and technology areas
- English level B2 or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Java for supporting cross-technology collaboration and integrations
- Familiarity with the Scrum framework for iterative and collaborative software delivery
