We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to enhance UI features and backend implementations in a collaborative, agile environment.
You will work closely with traders, quants, and global development teams, driving agile practices and automated testing. If you are proactive and ready to take ownership of projects, apply now to contribute to innovative solutions and cross-team collaboration.
Please note that this position requires working from the customer's office in Lisbon 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features and fix defects with a focus on code quality
- Engage with business analysts, test teams, and production support to ensure smooth delivery
- Participate actively in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Provide clear progress updates and escalate risks promptly
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams during development tasks
- Support L3 production issues and maintain non-production environments
- Provide on-call support during weekday evenings and release weekends
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in .NET and C# development
- Expertise in Microsoft .NET Framework
- Experience with UI optimization and UI unit test automation
- Proficiency with profiling tools to optimize memory and CPU usage
- Strong team and collaborative spirit across regions and skill levels
- High level of autonomy when required
- Strong communication and requirement analysis skills
- Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and simplicity
- Personal ownership and pride in delivering quality work
- Upper-intermediate level English (both written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience working with traders and quantitative analysts
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience in supporting production environments and on-call duties
